Celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson will raise the price of his haircut from $950 to $1200, effective January 1, 2013. With a current wait time of one month to eight weeks, Gibson deems the price increase necessary given his increasing popularity and demand for his services. Gibson touts his haircuts as being “a luxurious, 5-star experience” wherein each guest receives a stress relieving treatment with hot towels, shampoo, conditioning treatment, haircut, blow-dry and style all from Gibson himself.
